Tree Lightning Protection

Tree Lightning Protection is recommended for trees within 10’ of a structure and that have a canopy or branches extending beyond the height of a structure. No one tree is the same, so systems for trees require individual designed Lightning Protection.

Tree Lightning Protection should be considered by an owner if trees have historic, sentimental, or aesthetic value. In addition, tree houses should also be considered for lightning protection for safety reasons.
